If you know when and where major events in the international photography calendar are taking place, you can plan ahead to ensure you don't miss out. Whether submitting your work to participate in an open call, or book in a portfolio review with an industry professional. Knowing ahead of time enables you to the take the necessary steps to increase you chances of success.

A number of these events, such as Rencontres Arles or Paris Photo, are great opportunities to network, with many professionals travelling from around the world to attend.

This list (built in Notion) contains over 200 global events including photography festivals, photography specific art fairs, and photo book fairs / festivals. It is possible to filter by location (continent, country, city), when during the year the event starts, as well as which include portfolio reviews, talks, open calls, workshops, and photo books.

Once a month the database is updated with new information. There is a change log in the database to see the latest updates.

I would like this list to be a solid resource for photographers and photo-artists, but also curators and those close to the field who wish to stay informed. Therefore I am open to suggestions, comments and feedback for how this can be improved over time. If I have missed any events that you feel should be included, please let me know and I'll add them to the database.
